How do I convert a CSV to QBO for QuickBooks?+
Upload your CSV file above, check that the Date, Description and Amount columns were detected, then click Convert. You'll get a .qbo file (QuickBooks' Web Connect format) that imports straight into QuickBooks Online via Banking → Upload from file.
What columns does my CSV need?+
At minimum a Date column and an Amount column. A Description (or Payee) column is recommended so transactions are labelled, and a Memo/Reference column is optional. Common header names are detected automatically — Date, Amount, Description, Memo.
What date formats are supported?+
Australian DD/MM/YYYY is the default, and ISO YYYY-MM-DD and US MM/DD/YYYY are also recognised. Negative amounts are treated as debits (money out) and positive amounts as credits (money in).
Will the QBO file import into QuickBooks Online?+
Yes — the output uses the QBO/OFX Web Connect structure QuickBooks Online expects (VERSION:102). If QuickBooks asks you to match an account on import, that's normal — pick the bank account you're reconciling.
Is my financial data uploaded anywhere?+
No. The whole conversion runs in your browser with JavaScript. Your CSV never leaves your device and nothing is stored on our servers.
